SudBio presses its oils and makes its skincare, haircare and hammam products in Morocco, under cosmetic good manufacturing practice: written procedures, batch records, in-process controls and a traceable lot from raw material to finished unit — for our own brands, and as a contract manufacturer for yours.
What making it ourselves changes
A brand that buys from a trader does not know who made the product, from what, or under which controls. SudBio makes what it sells: the argan and prickly pear seed oils are pressed by us from kernels and seeds bought at origin; the creams, serums, soaps and shampoos are made by us from formulas developed in our laboratory. One house, one responsibility.
Production runs under ISO 22716, the good manufacturing practice standard written for cosmetics: qualified premises and equipment, trained people, written procedures, controls before, during and after the batch, and a record that lets any unit be traced back to its lots. The same standard applies to a run for our own ranges and to a run for a partner’s brand.
How a batch is made
Released materials only
A batch starts from raw materials and packaging the laboratory has released, weighed against the batch record, with their lot numbers written into it.
Procedures and controls
Each product has its manufacturing procedure; in-process controls — pH, viscosity, appearance, temperature — are taken and recorded at the steps the procedure defines.
Laboratory release
The finished batch is sampled and tested against its specification, including microbiological control where the product requires it, and released by the laboratory before it can be packed or shipped.
Batch record and retention
The record — materials, lots, operators, controls, results — is kept, and a retention sample of each batch is stored for its shelf life.
Reorders
The specification is frozen after the first run, so a reorder is the product you approved, with the same documents.

Manufacturing — questions partners ask
Are you a contract manufacturer?
Yes. Besides our own brands we make products for partners, from our formulas or from ones developed to their brief, under the same ISO 22716 controls.
What is your minimum production run?
It depends on the product and the packaging; it is stated with the quote and sized so that a launch is possible.
Do you press the argan oil yourselves?
Yes. Kernels are bought from cooperatives in the Souss and cold-pressed by us; the oil is filtered, analysed and released per lot.
Can I audit your production?
Yes. Partners and their auditors are received in Casablanca by appointment; the ISO 22716 certificate and the quality documentation are available on request.
Can you make a product with my own raw material?
Possibly, after it has been qualified and released by our laboratory like any other material.
